Robinson Terminal Warehouse Corporation has been actively involved in the warehousing business since 1939. We are experienced in handling various types of commodities and products with most recently concentrating in forest products. The terminal is one of the largest handlers of newsprint on the East Coast and the only working port in Alexandria and the surrounding Washington D.C. Metropolitan area.

The terminal owns and operates a fleet of modern three axle tractors and forty-eight foot trailers. Incoming tonnage exceeds 300,000 tons per year with capability of deliveries to the U.S. continental 48 states, Canada and Mexico.

The terminal has two deep water berths located on the Potomac River with drafts of 22 feet. The productivity in handling newsprint is one of the highest on the East Coast. The terminal is also serviced by Norfolk Southern, and can handle up to seventeen railcars at one time. It has a combined storage capacity of 463,000 square feet. All warehouses have sprinklers and are monitored 24 hours a day. All inventories and invoicing procedures are fully computerized, utilizing the most advanced IBM equipment and scanning technology. Information is shared with our customers and mills using Electronic Data Interchange technology which is recognized internationally. This allows our customers to have up-to-date inventory data for their demanding production decisions.
